THE

EXPERIENCE

CASE STUDY

Saturday Night Live tasked our client to create an interactive experience for participants to see what it feels like to host SNL ahead of SNL’s 50th anniversary show. Initially, SPAR's role was limited to printing and installing decorative window vinyls and decals. However, as the project evolved, our partner's requests broadened In the beginning, SPAR was only brought in to assist with printing and installing decorative window vinyls and decals. However, through the development and progression of the project SPAR's contributions expanded significantly, encompassing nearly every visual element. Our partner kept asking “Can you do this? Are you able to do that too?” And with a laugh, the answer was consistently, “yes, of course!”

By the end of the project, SPAR produced all framed photographic prints, gallery host imagery, every piece of “internal documents” that were strewed around the experience and hung on the walls, credentials, background banners, stencils, plaques, entry tickets, and famous SNL commercial props including Chia Head, Colon Blow Cereal, Almost Pizza, and JC Penny spiked seltzers. also consulted on paper materials, finishes, and the scaling of props and artwork, often delivering requests within hours to support the live event's dynamic pace.

Starting with just a few line items in the project management guide, the final task tracker grew exponentially to over 570 line items, each containing multiple sub-items and quantities reflecting the evolving and on-your-feet kinetics of a live event.
